Brittney Griner sẽ làm chứng tại tòa án Nga khi phiên tòa tiếp tục

Ngôi sao bóng rổ Hoa Kỳ Brittney Griner dự kiến sẽ ra điều trần tại phòng xử án ở Nga vào thứ Tư trong khuôn khổ  phiên tòa đang diễn ra về tội ma túy , mà cô phải đối mặt với án tù 10 năm.

Luật sư của Griner, Alexander Boykov, xác nhận với CNN rằng người từng hai lần đoạt huy chương vàng Olympic sẽ làm chứng, đồng thời cho biết thêm các công tố viên cũng sẽ có cơ hội thẩm vấn cô.

Griner đã bị giam giữ ở Nga kể từ tháng 2, khi nhà chức trách cho biết họ tìm thấy dầu cần sa trong hành lý của cô tại một sân bay ở Moscow và cáo buộc cầu thủ WNBA - người chơi ở Nga trong mùa giải của giải đấu - đã buôn lậu một lượng đáng kể chất ma túy.
